Common Visa Document Requirements

While requirements vary by country and visa type, most applications share these technical specifications:

• Passport photo: 35×45mm or 2×2 inch, white background, specific file size (often 10–200KB)
• Supporting documents (PDF): Often limited to 1–5MB per file or 10MB total
• File format: Usually PDF for documents, JPG for photos
• Scan quality: Clear and readable — but not so high resolution that files are too large

Step 1 — Prepare Your Passport Photo

Most visa portals have strict photo requirements that automated systems check. An incorrect photo is one of the most common reasons for application delays.

1. Take a photo against a white background with even lighting
2. Open the Passport Photo Resizer
